This is a perfect first cave exploring trip in Old Town Spring Cave. Enter the world of caves as you walk into the large spring opening.

Scramble through a variety of passages
Wade the underground river
Look for chance encounters with small aquatic life (cave crayfish, sculpin, salamanders, bats)

You are guaranteed to get wet!

Old Town Spring Cave has an active spring fed river that flows year round.

Cave Salamander (Eurycea Lucifuga)!
Also known as spotted tail salamander.

Bring some buddies and come get muddy!

Don’t worry we won’t make you wipe your feet when you leave the cave.
